What is your

NEXT STEP on the

DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAY of becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ?

Where Do I Start?

knowing Jesus

getting baptized

read the Bible & pray

Did you know that God loves you and wants a relationship with you?  However, there is a sin problem.  No matter how good of a life you try to live, you (along with every other person) still fall miserably short of God's standard of perfect righteousness.  Your sin separates you from God today and, if left alone, will separate you from Him for eternity.

The good news is that God loves you so much that He went to extreme measures to correct this problem.  How? He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it. Jesus' death not only paid your sin debt, it made heaven a promise and a relationship with Him possible. God calls what He has done for you the gift of salvation.

There's more good news... this gift can become yours today.  If you would like to receive what God has done for you, simply pray and invite Him into your life as Savior by asking Him to forgive you of your sinfulness, and receiving what He has done for you through His death, burial and resurrection.

We have all sinned against God

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"  - Romans 3:23

Because of our sin, we deserve to be eternally separated from God

"For the wages of sin is death,..." -Romans 6:23a - The result of sin is death which is eternal separation from God.

But because of His love for us

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."  -John 3:16

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us".  -Romans 5:8

This gift can become yours

"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto slavation." - Romans 10:9-10

"But as many as received HIm, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:" - John 1:12

Here is a sample prayer to accept God's gift of salvation by receiving Christ as Savior.  It isn't so much the words that are important... the attitude of your heart is what matters most.

"Dear God,  I know I'm a sinner and I ask for your forgiveness.  I believe Jesus Christ is your Son.  I believe that He died for my sin and that You raised Him to life.  I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward.  Guide my life and help me to do Your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus.  Amen."

If you made that decision today, please let us know!  We would love to help you know more about the new life you have in Jesus Christ.

Believing in Jesus is the first step on the greatest journey of your life. You haven't finished the race-you've only just begun. The best is yet to come!

While baptism is not necessary for salvation, it is an important step in the life of a new believer.  Baptism is the outward expression of an inward reality. It's a public declaration of how Jesus changed your life. Being baptized shows others that you've decided to follow Jesus and allows them to celebrate this decision with you (Acts 2:41).

When Christians are baptized, they are immersed under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus, and then raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. The power that brought Jesus back to life is the same power He uses to change our lives- and that's worth getting excited about.

"Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them." - Acts 2:41

"And the eunuch said, 'See, here is water.  What hinders me from being baptized?'  Then Philip said, 'If you believe with all your heart, you may.' And he answered and said, 'I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.' ...And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him." - Acts 8:36-39

"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we should walk in newness of life." - Romans 6:4

The Bible is a living book - it is God's Word, and God speaks to you through it.

"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives.  It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.  God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work." - II Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT)

"For the Word of God is living and powerful.. and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."  - Hebrews 4:12

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." - Pslam 119:105

Prayer is simply you talking to God.  He is there for you to talk to at any time or any place.

"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.  Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." - Phil. 4:6-7 (NLT)

Get Growing . . . Connect

become a member

join a group

The Bible teaches that it is very important for every believer to get connected and become a member of a local church.  You will soon discover that having a family of faith will provide strength, encouragement and support.

"Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thouseand souls were added to them.  And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers... praising God and having favor with all the people.  And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved." - Acts 2:41-42, 47

We believe that spiritual growth happens best in a LifeGroup.  A Life Group is a small group environment where each person benefits from a caring Bible leader, encouragement from others and learning God's Word together.

"as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby." - I Peter 2:2

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;... (-JESUS)" - Matthew 28:19-20
